I am just wondering what the philosophy is for moderating irrelevant or content-less posts like “cool” or “thanks,” that are addressed in the Forum Policies. At the moment, the WLM and Food & Books forums seem to be especially afflicted by this problem 🙁
O RLY? :p
The policy was put together to try and cut down on prolonging “chat type” posts for people to read a thread easier. More recently, things like this have been sliding a bit, but if anyone feels it’s a useless post, feel free to use the report post button, and it’s sends off an email to a moderator, and they’ll clean it up.
If you notice someone doing it a lot, perhaps to increase a post count, let one of the admins know and we can take care of it.
