i was wondering if anyone knows if aim versions to come will have a feature where you can have more that 200 people on your bl
i havent heard anything official but i sincerely doubt it… for now you’ll have to settle with using a cloner to have multiple screennames running, or something similar to that.
but seriously, do you actually talk to more than 200 people?? honestly??
There was this same question a while ago, i tried messin with the aim resources and also i found a registry value for “MaxBuddies” that was set to 200 but nothing worked. as far as i can tell, the AIM servers control it so theres nuthin you can do except the cloner or multi sn way. sry, just thought id add that
There’s a progra out there called Buddy Limit Break. I’m not sure if it works, but if you want, you might give it a shot
This used to be possible back in the days before the buddy list was stored on AOL’s servers. Now you can’t break it.
If you really need to have more than 200 people on your buddy list, the only solution is to create multiple screen names (one for good friends, one for family, one for school, etc.). You can have 200 names per screen name, so the possibilities are virtually unlimited.

word up, I don’t know if this works but I just downloaded something from http://www.aimfun.com/out.php?id=3402&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.pd0.com&cat=1 it’s called buddymax I think I havn’t tried it yet so I don’t knooooooooooooooooooow if it works ////// \\\ hope it helps [!]
