MemberI, for one, am lucky because i have not broken a single bone!! the worst injury i have eva had was when i was climbing a tree and as the foolish kid i was, i was jumpin out of it…this was quite a big tree. the fall was probably as high as a house…it was going surprisingly well until i decided to go one more time b4 leaving…so i jumped and im sure u can all relate to me for when u land on ur foot wrong…it hurts a lot dont it!! well think of that pain and multiply it by around 100!! it was unbareable…luckily i didnt break n e bone but i severly pulld the muscle…
im sure this is wimpish compared to ur manly stories…dont wanna seem like i enjoy hearing of pain, but i for it wud be cool to hear of ur occurances so i can cringe!!!

MemberOne of the most painful times for me was when i just got home after walking the dog. I still had hold of its leash, but the silly mutt was so excited to be back home that it was running, i somehow fell hard face first onto the path, i lifted my head and noticed blood coming out my mouth. MY first thought was that i lost some teeth, but teeth just went through my lip and i had grazes all down my face. After awhile, my left arm became very painful. So much so that i couldnt move it. Few xrays later, and it showed that i fractured my elbow. I was a sight to see, grazed face, swollen lip and sling on my arm. Elbow still hasnt healed properly yet.
Ouch!!“Love in its wisdom is the ultimate grace. To drown in it’s pool of desire, is the perfect fall”

MemberAs a kid I was a tom boy…
…If a guy could do it so could I..climped trees…rode my bike and made jumps…I wasn’t about to let some boy out do me…
One day me and the guys were in my parents shed behind the house…(okay…clear your mind of that…lol)…anywho…we were jumping off of a old wooden big cabinet…Why?…dont ask me…was just something to do I guess…lol…when it came to my turn…I got ready for the jump and down I went…right on a 3inch rusty nail…it went through my shoe right into my foot…
Trying so hard to hold back the scream and tears…(didn’t want the guys see me weak…lol)…I hobbled into the house with this nail sticking out of my foot…the guys thought it was gross…in some way it just made me more accecepted…(sick I know…lol)…My mother on the other hand freaked out and pulled out the nail and took me into the doctors…the doc. gave me a shot and I balled…
…But that was okay…least the guys didn’t see that…
I had to take it easy for a while but was just a few days and the guys and I were back up in our huge plum tree in my backyard again…(the best plums are at the top you know…lol)

MemberMy most painful experience ? I have been mostly lucky ….. however …. On New Years day in 92 I was up in the mountains sliding on truck innertubes, in the snow, down skid trails ( made by cats during logging) with huge water bars on them . everything was going ok until the snow had started to get slick as the afternoon sun started melting it. There were two waterbars on this particular run . .
weeeeee . . the first was the biggest one , I was laying on the innertube head first , I went over jump caught awesome air slowly turned in the air and landed on my right shoulder rather hard. that hurt a little bit – I had decided I wouldn’t go as high up on the trail as before. After I rested a while and started to get cold i walked up again and took off from a lot lower this time . . well as fate would have it I did same thing on the same shoulder again
right then and there I decided no more for me, the pain was terrible . somehow in my dazed thinking ( or lack of it) I decided to drag my feet and go very easy the rest of the way down, well at the bottom of the run was the last waterbar and smaller too , I went straight up and straight down head first into the snow my head and shoulder got stuck in the snow ( guess which shoulder? lol ) my neck muscles were severly strained and shoulder rotator cup was pushed down it became a major operation just to change posistions in bed .
This is one of my worst experiences with pain which i am sure doesn’t even come close to some of yours
To live and have not tried new things is such a waste .

MemberI can’t believe the experience i left out!! totally forgot:
My worst nightmate now are the dodgem cars at funfairs…i was at a local fair and i swear they must have been the most dangerous cars ever to exist! it wasnt a massive fair, so the organisers didnt really care bout safety, they just wanted the cash…
When i was driving along having such a fun time, i got rammed from the side…and there was this really sharp corner on a metal box inside the car which the soft tissue on my knee managed to come into contact wif, but wif a lot of force!! if n e of u hav had a dead knee (like a dead arm) then its like that!! but it was so much worse…i was almost crying coz the pain was soooo bad, but then guess wot happened, i got rammed AGAIN and the same knee hit the sharp metal corner and i was in masses of pain…i finally fort the session was over and i cud get out of there as quick as possible, when i get hit AGAIN lol…RIDICULOUS…it was sooo painful…i didnt cry, luckily, coz that wuda been embarassing, but i have neva felt so much pain in my entire life!!!
Its gonna take a me a lot of courage to go bak on one of those again!

MemberOne of my most painful experience was when I was about 10, and I had a bike wreck. There was a dirt road behind my house, and my mother told me to not get on it riding , to stay in my friends drive. Me and my friend didnt listen. We thought hey, just once down this hill, who will ever know… mama did! At the top of the hill, I lost control, and i slid to the bottom of the hill with my bike on top. Not a scratch from the waist up, but my legs and feet were so messed up I couldnt walk. My friends mom, helped me to my house, and my mother, had to bandage me. She never said a word, but gave me a look that said I told you!! What was worse, we were going on a camping vacation the next week, and I ruined it for my whole family. I was so bandaged, I couldnt walk. They stayed mad at me for a week or longer.
The other most painful, was about the same age, I was fixing chicken noodle soup for that same friend. It was boiling and I knocked the pan off the stove, and had 3rd degree burns on my leg. I went into shock, and mama had to take me to the doc, and that scraping the dead burned skin off, and the noodles that burned into my leg was awful.
My legs have been thru it,We never lose the ones we love, we lose the person, but love never dies. 🙂

ParticipantMy most painful experience was…
Just last october.
I was running through the woods. The ground seemed pretty flat n’ sturdy to me so I ran at full blast. Little did I know was that the leaves on the ground were covering up holes in the ground. It was like a mine field.
So here we have Anna running at full blast (don’t ask why I was running… ) thorugh the woods on a ground full holes which are blind to her. All of a sudden Anna steps in a hole. In the procedure of falling down – Anna’s knee doesn’t bend forwards but….. backwards. Surprisingly Anna did not scream or cry.
Yes it did physically look very gross (a knee bending the wrong way.. ick) and omigosh did it hurt like heck. It hurt more than when I got hit by a car when I was a munchkin.
So la-di-da-di-da I eventually ended up in the hospital and on crutches for a while. I don’t go to the hospital anymore but physio-therapy n’ family doctors are still running wild. It’s been almost a year since that nasty fall n’ I still have problems walking n’ running wihtout a knee brace.
Oh and this one time – by friend pinched me, and it really hurt.
