Wife and I went to see the new Steve Martin/Queen Latifa movie, Bringing Down The House. I was expecting a decent comedy. She was expecting a lame comedy. Both of us were pleasantly surprised.
Bringing Down The House was hilarious! I really enjoyed it. Well written, extremely well cast, and nearly perfect execution. Queen Latifa is really impressive. Of course, Steve Martin plays the stuffy middle-aged white guy perfectly.
Great flick! Go see it. 🙂

My friends and I were standing at the movie entrance debating between Anger Management and Head of State, when I remembered Jeff’s rewiew of Head of State, so we saw Anger Management.Well to get to the point, taking Jeff’s advice was a great idea because not only was this Adam Sandler and Jack Nicholson movie hilarious, it also had a very well written story and plot. Its about a submissive secretary named Dave Buznik(Sandler) who gets sentenced to an anger management class after a little mishap on an airplane. His “teacher” Dr. Buddy Rydell(Nicholson) then becomes quite engrossed and involved in his personal life, and the sparks start to fly.
You won’t regret spending an evening in the theater watching this excellent movie.
Rating:PG-13

I went to see the movie ‘Dreamcatcher’ last night. If you read the Stephen King book you already kinda know what is going on. For those who don’t, Dreamcatcher is sort of an odd horror movie with a touch of science fiction. I liked it, and it scared my girlfriend… Good storyline for the most part, and a decent ending. I’d recommend it if anyone was questioning on going to see it.
