This morning in class I donwloaded MSN V. 1.0 because some of my friends wanted to see what it looked like. I did, and I was checking out some of the features it did have, and it has like nothing 🙂 No smilies, mic options, file transfter and hundreds more..lol But it did have this one option, in options under accounts it had something where you can have AOL Instant Messenger and a MSN Messenger account together? I dont understand why so I thought I would ask the experts… (not the a$$- holes at MS who cant find the time to write you back)
I have included a screen shot below.

Any ideas?
MSN used to allow you to connect to AIM. But AOL started blocking them. This war went back and forth for a while (remember the Trillian-AOL war about a year ago?), and eventually MSN gave up.
AHHHHHH OK I understand. I was just figuring like why would MSN team up with AOL… weird… K cool thanks.
Those were the good ole days. . .
hmmm it was cooolll..but why AOL were blocking them?and why they gave thier service at 1st ??
that was then, this is now.
