Yet again, seems Patchou is working on ANOTHER release of Messenger Plus! This release won’t have as many new features as previous versions, but will be redesigned. You can read Patchou’s post at the Messenger Plus! Forums:
Quote:quote:Actually, it’s funny that you’re mentionning Winamp as I’m precisely keeping it in mind while I’m redesigning my interfaces. I won’t repeat the mistakes of others, even if some of you push me to do so (by that, I mean adding tons of useless features and displaying many useless option windows attached to the main Messenger ones). And yes, I guess I can tell you now, I’m currently working on Plus! 3.00. Don’t expect new features, there will be almost none. As I said, Plus! already got more than it’s load of features and 99% of my users don’t know half of them. That’s why the new version is focusing on interfaces and accessibility, meaning that the existing features will be more easily accessible and more fun to use. I’ll soon post an announcement about that.Messenger Plus! 3 probably won’t be released for some bit, but stayed tuned as more information will follow in the future.
