Hello everyone!!!
The other day, I signed in MSN 5.0 and it said there was another version available and if I wanted to update.
I was surprised when it started to download 5.0 again, but, hey, I guessed they had changed something.
When it finished, Plus! said there was an update available, and I though once I started downloading, better to get it all out of the way and I updated Plus! too.
Now here is the problem:
1. After the Plus update ( I cant tell if it is because Plus or MSN), my computer was filled with casino and adult shortcuts on the desktop, that had never been there before.
2. My MSN has two adds that weren’t there before (they are in spanish, probably cause they recognized at downloading that my IP is form spain???).
3. And the most important thing, now everytime I sign in, Plus! says there is some program running incorrectly and that does not allow MSN or Plus to work fine (although MSN seems to work fine to me), and it recomeds me to restart MSN again, I accept and it disconnects and connects back without the message. Those anybody now if those problems are from downloading Plus! or MSN?, and how can I fix number 3?
Thanks for reading and hopefully writing back,

You have encountered the little thang Patchou included in the newest version of Plus, that he likes to call his ‘sponser’ program. It is totally optional.
When you install it, it asks you if you wish to accept the terms, in this case you DO NOT need to. Actually unless you are 18, you are not allowed to install it.
Redownload it, and choose not to accept it. Get a spyware remover, and get rid of it.May 28, 2003 at 2:20 pm #62276sciencefeelingMemberOk, now my next question is….what about the error message Plus gives everytime I run MSN?
Thanks detn8r!!! I guess I have to read morem :(.
