Call me a dappy blonde, but where do I extract them to, and how do you make use of them? Can’t find anywhere that tells me! 😮

me too!! i have no idea where i link all of the alphabet patches, all of it! do you put in the messenger file?? i tried that and it didn’t work!! so where the heck do i put it?
mess.be !! go there for like, other tricks for nicknames and all kinds of stuff but they also have tons of downloadables and lots of them are emotcion packs (like the SARS 1 that’s also posted on this site) and lots of alphabet paks.
I actually think I figured out what they are and what they do.
Alphabet Packs are just simply just a zipped file with every letter in the alphabet with numbers 0-9 in a specific cool looking font. What you could do is download them, and open them up. Click on the ‘extract’ buttom at the top right hand side, and chose a directory to put them into. I suggest making a new folder, place it on your desktop, and extract them all into there. Now once you have done that, open up MSN, and a chat window, and click on the emoticon smiley face. Click on My Emoticons, and click on Add, locate the folder in which you extracted the pack from, and upload each one into MSN. Follow the directions Messenger gives you and your done.
But just so that you know, Messenger only allows you to send up to 5 custom emoticons at a time, or is it a conversation. In case it wasn’t obvious, you can only use them with MSN Messenger 6.0, which lets you create custom emoticons.
