hi! i have a problem i just got msn 6 and now i can't use msn plus how and where can i get msn plus that works for msn 6? please reply me thanx
MSN Messenger Plus isn't compatible with MSN Messenger 6.0 yet. Patchou is working on a update, but I wouldn't expect it until sometime after the official release of 6.0 on July 17th.
When msn 6 came out I installed it and I had no problems with msn plus running with it. I would send you a screen shot but I don't have msn 6 installed anymore because im going to wait untill the full version come's out. But if you would like I could install it again and give you a screen shot. So Shifter if you really want a screen shot just e-mail me. My e-mail is in my Profile.

Only SOME features of Plus work. What? Locking, contact manager, and another… but I'm not sure… oh yes.. event log. That is it.
Microsoft made it diffucult for Patchou to work with it, BUT he has been able to get it to work, he is just now fixing the bugs with helpers. As Jeff has said it will be released very soon after 6.0 goes public.
Let me make this clear, that just because you have the Plus! menu in your MSN Messenger does not mean that all or any Plus features will work.I also have no problem running MSN beta 6 with Plus!, but Plus is not functional in MSN 6. I can still use Plus with the Windows Messenger 4.7 just fine. I understand that.
I personally haven't seen Plus work with MSN 6 beta, not run along with it, but actually have workin features. I understand that a few people may somehow still have access to the Plus menu in 6 and a couple of features work for them, but to say “That is technically a load of rubbish MSN Plus does work” is not helpful. If you can get it to work then why aren't you letting us know how? That was the original Topic question. If you can't answer it, don't post answers that will confuse or belittle others.In recognition of this problem, Patchou himself released a minor update of Plus that, if you're running the MSN 6 beta, when you click the Plus menu you get a “Compatibility Info” screen that states:

I also have a solution to the problem (i THink) of all the stories I've heard if you had the original msn plus and not the updated one then installed msn6 somethings still worked, if you had the updated msn plus you'll have to wait until plus for msn6 comes out PERIOD!!!Yes i see it, thanks for posting it up THREE TIMES! anyway its cool to see that some ppl can still use plus. But it sounds like it just depended on which version of plus you were running when you upgraded.
So what you are actually saying is that you cannot use plus unless you installed it in a certain order from a certain version at a certain time when the sun and the moon aligned to form a path of light streaming down from the heavens…..or something along those lines. Still no help to the majority of us who installed msn 6 and cannot run Plus – correct? Thanks for the screenshot anyway.
lukezweb, if you host your images on Yahoo's GeoCities.com websites, and want to put your images on bulletin-boards like BigBlueBall, if you'll change .jpg to .txt (just rename it from xxx.jpg to xxx.txt. The images will show up just fine.
Sometimes, refeshing/reloading your browser will do the trick to see the images.
