MSN 6.0 Connecting Problem

Whenever i try to connect to ANYONES computer usuing msn messenger, it never connects, but stays on connecting for several mins. The it says somehting like it failed or their experiecing problems. Im usuing a P2 processor and windows 98 SE. It connects fine when usuing other messengers and other things, just not msn. Any help? anyone? …please…?

I had this problem on Windows XP, it wouldn’t connect for about a minute. I think the problem started sometimes yesterday evening. Last night, one of my friend (WebTV user) sent me messages while she shows off-line. The problem must be at Microsoft’s end not ours.

maybe, but mine hasnt worked yet. And i read something about webcams might not work if im not usuing XP, but that isnt ur problem. 🙁
