Hiya!
This is driving me insane!! No matter what i do i can’t get the chat logging/history to work on msn6! ( version 6.0.0268) For some weird and most wonderful reason – that i dunno – when i go to Tools, Options, Messages (blah blah etc.) the option for ‘Automatically Keep a history of my conversations’ is all greyed out so i can’t even select the tick box!! At first i thought it may b because i had msnplus still installed (i’d heard that it caused some problems with msn6 as it’s not yet compatable) BUT i’ve now unistalled msn plus and chat logging/history still isn’t working 🙁
Please some one help me out!! Is anyone having the same problem?! PLEASE HELP!!June 27, 2003 at 10:38 pm #94282Jeff HesterKeymasterWhat operating system are you using? It’s working for me fine on Windows XP Pro. You might try reinstalling.

June 29, 2003 at 12:10 am #94286TayMemberThx, but i have the new version! I never downloaded the leaked version or anything 🙂
And reinstalling didnt work 🙁June 29, 2003 at 12:16 am #94281Jeff HesterKeymasterThis might be a limitation the version for NT. If you need logging now, I suggest using MSN Messenger Plus! with either MSN Messenger 5 or Windows Messenger.
June 29, 2003 at 12:17 am #94283DavidParticipantNT4.0?
Have you tried deleting the registry key? that seems to fix most problems on Win9x systems. (I’m not sure if it will do anything though, because 9x and NT are two very different platforms)
June 29, 2003 at 12:21 am #94285TayMemberyeah 🙂
eeek…i wouldn’t even know where 2 begin deleting the registry key!!
hmmm…guess i’ll have 2 wait until the proper release date and see if they’ve stopped the problem until i can get msn6 to run properly!! o well .. 🙁Thx for everyone’s help anywayz!
