Hi
A couple of months ago I unsuccessfully tried to update MSN 6.1 to 6.2. In the middle of the installation I got the error message saying it couldn’t write to “C:WindowsSystem32RTCRES.DLL”.
I can now not install 6.1 either, and am left using Messenger 5.0
Does anyone have any ideas about what could be causing this please?..and how to fix it? I’ve tried most of the fixes mentioned in the 1603 error code thread, and none of these have worked.
I hope someone can help!
