I am usually pretty handy w/ computers.. this one has me so frustrated I don’t know what to do.. I just got a brand new HP computer.. 1gb ram pentium 1.7m processor… Good machine..
I have downloaded 7.5 like 5 times now and completely removed it and it won’t fix my problem..
Whenever I open messenger it will log me in, check my emails and let me know I have say “1 new email” or whatever.. The box pops up.. and then everything freezes.. Locks up and if I wait for 30 min. will work itself out?
Does anyone have a clue what it could be?

Have you tried doing some virus scanning? Since you are handy with computers I’m sure you’ve thought of it already 😉You can also search our forum here, msn freezing issues have been reported numerous times, maybe you’ll find some answers there

Thanks a ton for the quick reply Prince.. Yeah I have run a virus scan and it doesn’t find anything.. That was my first idea.. Also I searched through and found a few of the freeze posts.. I tried those solutions and none worked.. I am sure I have some sort of virus or maybe a missing file or something.. The other thing I was thinking it might be is maybe my virus scanner is freezing it up… my computer usage stays pretty low though.. hmm.. I hate MSN 😀 The other confusing thing is that Trillian works and I can use my MSN login on it.. ??
Well hey if anyone reads this and has some idea what it might be please throw me a shot:D
