I’ve seen this happen a couple times on my list as well. First, I’d say try going to Tools > Options… > Privacy n’ make sure the contact is on the Allow list, not the Block list. If necessary – I’m sure you know what to do …move them to the proper list. Make sure to ask your friend to do the same.December 14, 2002 at 10:48 pm #65706sciencefeelingMemberOk, this might be an obvious question…but, always that i block somebody but i keep them in my list, a sign appears on them saying they are blocked. So…how is possible thet he blocked the other person wihtout knowing, is that a option of msn, not having them shown as blocked?
So the only idea that i would consider is that the other person blocked u and he just didn’t tell u…
But again sure i am missimg some point…, right?NG

It took a lot of sorting out to get everything settled.

December 15, 2002 at 6:35 pm #65702AnnaParticipantHave you made sure that your friend on is on your Allow list? Have you asked him/her to do the same with you?
What I’d say to do is start from scratch. Delete them from your list… And then remove them completely from the Allow list. You can only do this if your friend as well does the exact same. Then try adding your friend again.

When the new user has added you to their contact list comes up, and they click do not allow messages from this user could that have nething to do with it?
