msn countdown

Maybe it’s just me, but I have NO idea what you’re talking about. Could you be a little bit more descriptive?

I’m guessing you enter a date into the program and it changes your name to simulate a countdown?

If you are using Messenger Plus Live! for Windows Live Messenger, you could take advantage of its scripting feature and use one of these scripts:

• Countdown Live *Recommended*
Countdown Live lets you set a counter in your name or personal message or both with lots of possibilities to customize it.
• Countdown In Personal Message
Adds a Counter (upwards or downwards) to your personal message or nickname.
• Elcetera
Provides a countdown to an event, a way to detect foreground applications, a spell checker, etc.

Good luck 🙂

Hi there Hypno.
I use HyperIM which certainly works beautifully for countdowns on my YM, and as far as I can see it includes a similar “status-changing” feature for WLM.

(THIS thread there refers to WLM, but is probably obsolete now, as I see a note there that that “plugin” is now built-in to the main program).
Perhaps worth your checking out ?

And if you do, please let’s know here if it does or doesn’t for sure, for the sake of those who browse past here later.
