Hello!
I’m aware that Trillian 2.01 supports incoming webcam transmissions with MSN, but I have no idea how… Please guide my hand if I have to set up stuff, and tell me what I have to do when someone tries to send a webcam image.
BTW, do I need to have a webcam for this? Would be weird…
Thanks in advance!
I think they WERE going to put incoming webcam support in 2.0 (it was in the changelog in early betas) but ran into legal issues with microsoft. So you can’t turn it on I’m afraid.
The problem revolved around the fact that at the time MSN used an external program made by logitech for the webcam stuff. Since 2.0 came out MS changed it and now uses its own code for the webcam, so there’s hope that a future version of trillian will support it.
