Now to accompany my brain lag, here’s my announcement of the release of MSN Messenger 5… a day late.
Yesterday (October 24), MSN Messenger 5 was officially released. New features this time ’round includes:
- Parental Control – A weekly report is emailed to you indicating who your child has talked to on MSN and for how long
- Spam IM Blocker – MSN will prompt you to accept or deny incoming IMs from people not on your list, that MSN may detect as spam
- Meet new People – You can search for new friends with similar interests or other aspects.
- A new improved look!
To my surprise, it is Windows XP compatible as far as I know from my experience. And you can have Windows Messenger n’ MSN Messenger installed on the same system at the same time… weird eh?
You can download the newest version os MSN here.
