On that url you most click on “Download Hier”
Than the download wil started. You go first to a page where the download count so I could see how many times it wil be downloaded.

ParticipantLast time I check, mess.be informed us that Deluxe Display Pictures were only part of the Korean MSN PowerPlus Package. If you choose to make a deal out of the “supposed features” than, you only have your self to be ashamed of.
There were not very many features (or exciting ones) to expect anyway.
-Launch Site gets a new: Fun & Games
-Additions to Fun & Games: Music Exchange (which btw I have not seen added yet)
-Mozaki Blocks added to Fun & Games (which was added a few days ago; before the release of 6.2)
-MSN Messenger ‘Connection Troubleshooter’
-Games from-within a internet page with JavaScript (anyone see it?)What we ended up getting:
– Allows you to install the MSN ToolBar for IE
– Display mobile contacts in a group, and also noticeably changed to a gold MSN character
– Auto complete emoticons, which apparently can not be turned off
– 3 new launch-sites you have to PAY for
– 2 new API’s
– NOT compatible with messenger plus yetApril 22, 2004 at 10:34 pm #80792Austin69er6
Participant😡 MSN 6.2 sucks! I think if microsoft is going to do a an upgrade on MSN next time that it should be something that will impress everyone and be fun not stupid and gay just by puting people who have mobile on a diff group and turn them into a yellow looking color and that you can see smilies when you enter the code..Msn plus 3 will prob be way better when its released then MSN 6.2 gay sh*t:cool::D laterz:mad:

MSN is homosexual? Oh…
Maybe you should go program your own messenger, and run your own servers? MSN is gay, so why do you use it?
Do you think you can do better, and make everyone happy? Maybe you need to think deeper into the working of MSN. I’m guessing that the main reason for the 6.2 release was for bug fixes and minor upgrades, not to make everyone happy and add ‘cool new fun stuff’.
As Twistedmetal stated, you guys need to stop expecting so much from a free service. Microsoft doesn’t make much, if any money on MSN messenger. They could go ahead and start having it add spyware to the installer and such.
Someday you will realize the way a corporation works, and that nothing is ever free.

Member912: Read the posts. There are no Deluxe pictures released.
Geez. Why do you think half the guys here are P.O.ed?Also. I would believe that MSN Messenger is a very efficient form of advertising for Microsoft and the MSN ISP. Microsoft have no duty at all to provide us with any free product, but it is in their best interests as marketing. Would you buy the big programs for lots of cash if the smaller ones didn’t work as expected. I don’t think I would.
I’m sure this can be discussed in a new topic though. The current topic is “MSN Messenger 6.2 Initial Impressions”, not Microsoft ethics.April 22, 2004 at 11:17 pm #80765twistedmetal
MemberDude 912, seriously, are you a complete idiot? I know I’m rude, but holy crap, READ THE THREAD!

MemberIm sure theres more behind the scenes thats been worked on than we can actually see. Hopefully the voice problems wont be as bad. Not a huge change but not crap either.
Anyone have any idea if the mess.be games patch will work with this version or how long it usually takes for them to update the patch?April 23, 2004 at 12:08 am #80797Dale
Memberkoen always updates fast..
as for the messenger.. I guess the only words I could say are..

Actually, it seems to me that it got smaller. When I downloaded it at school at around 12PM (EDT) it was exactly 5.0MB on Windows XP Pro. I tried it on my home computer running on Windows XP Home, and it’s only 4.72MB.
Where did you see a increase, and by exactly how much?

Participantim at skool now and I downloaded it it was 6.69 mb.. jeff told me it must be the Os tho coz we have win 2000 here and they might need some files.. not like xp.. but I have no idea.. when is it going to go on the main MSN messenger site not the Int one..
April 23, 2004 at 12:33 am #80760detn8r
ParticipantIT IS. Read Jeff’s inital post. The site’s content has not changed, it still says 6.1, but it is shelling out 6.2 for download.
April 23, 2004 at 2:13 am #80776shifter
ParticipantI just tried the main site as per Jeff’s post, and it would only give me 6.1. I had to use the int site to get 6.2.
