Memberseb_thib_55 are you in the UK like myself? if so the games list is shorter. Get the patch from the link proved above to be able to access them all. 🙂

Memberi guess this is what I truly got to say about it. now my addons are working,
i dont think too badly or greatly of this messenger.. from what I read on mess.be there are more API’s.. that could be great for patchou! maybe in messenger plus! 3.1 he could put them to good use..
but at the same time, microsoft just wants to make money on their messenger service.. (who can blame them?)
the gold icons, I personally think they are annoying, but I like the fact that I can group them into the same group :)..
and the launch site.. http://www.games.mess.be gives me the launch site I love to enjoy.
i guess its just an update to hold us over till 7.0.. and I can imagine what 7.0 will hold..

MemberThe MSN 6.2 is definitely a little lacking in the update, but I agree with ICE; there are probably a lot of things going unnoticed, and that’s what a minor upgrade is for. Don’t be so whiny when you can actually log on without “Error Message XXXXXXX”.

Can anyone please help me?Thank you.

MemberQuote:quote:Originally posted by twistedmetalDude, reality check, Microsoft/MSN doesn’t have to add any this for you.
Be grateful that they update and provide MSN free of charge for all of you!
And uh, if you were the ‘creator’ (I’ll assume you mean programmer), of MSN Messenger, you wouldn’t be ashamed of your software (That hundreds of thousands of people use every day).
JeezChrist! Kids are ungrateful today!
What the guy said made perfect sense.
They hyped it up for NOTHING.
They shouldn’t be proud of this junk since other Instant Messengers are actually doing WAY better.
MSN is in the list of Instant Messengers that are competing, and I see MSN drowning below.
Speaking of the hundreds and thousands of users, Windows Messenger comes with every computer that has ‘Windows’ as the operating system. ICQ doesn’t come with any computer by force and it’s still doing WAY better.
By the way, the next time someone posts in his opinion about something, you either respect it or stay quiet. You don’t have to mock anyone because you have a different opinion.
Enjoy.

Actually, I didn’t see Microsoft advertise or hype this release anywhere. It was discovered that an update was coming, and it was reported at http://www.mess.be and http://www.neowin.net unofficially. You really can’t blame MS for whatever hype ensued from these articles as they did not endorse or release them.

I’m actually blaming MS for this lame update, not the hype. The ones that hyped it are all those websites that are related to IMs.

Memberwhat does mess.be’s games have to do with mokazi blocks, hexic and cubis, and where do I get those 3 from?
April 23, 2004 at 5:08 pm #80774shifter
ParticipantYes, the update didn’t add anything too fancy. But minor updates usually don’t. The problem in this case was the rumours of animated Display pics. Everyone expected them, but they were not included in this release. But I bet those who were having constant connection issues will be happy if they can now connect without issue (yet to be seen though). I guess this thread is now just the bitch and whine area to get your frustation out. Kind of silly to complain about an update that will hopefully fix problems, instead of create more.

Memberi’m not whining, I just wanna know where the games in jeff’s photo are!
April 23, 2004 at 5:19 pm #80759detn8r
Participantcrazycal100, these games are not new. All of these were released before 6.2 was shipped out. As said above, it’s possible you do not have them because of your geographical location on the map.
But hey! Maybe downloading the US version may grant them to you. Give it a try… couldn’t hurt. -
