I just recieved an report error on msn messenger. I click on do not send and msn messenger closes. I’m using msn messenger version 6.2 and Windows98SE. I do not want to upgrade messenger because I did the 7.0 and I kept getting that error all the time on the 7.0, but on the 6.2 I get it very vaguely. Is that error normal or what do I need to do? Any suggestions please?

Firstly, you did right in not sending the error message. Really, I find it pointless. As for your problem, I gathered that the error with 6.2 does not happen all that often?
If it’s possible, attempt to find out what you might be doing that causes this error, and if there is some sort of pattern to it happening. The more info you provide us with, the better we can have a look at your problem. Cheers 🙂
I have 3 windows open plus the messenger. When it happened was, I add a friend to my contact list and when the friend came on msn that’s when the send report box camed up. Hope that make sense.
Have you tried using the latest version 7.5? (Build 7.5.0.311)
I would suggest you download this one at the moment and get back to us if the problem persists.
