Hi, if anyone could help me I would really appricate it
I run windows 2000. This morning I was using MSN and signed off. When I went to sign back on, my computer shut itself down and went to a clue stop screen. I tried load MSN a couple times and I kept getting the same results. I removed MSN and tried to reinstall it, hoping that would fix the problem, but when I do that I get the same results. Has anyone seen this problem before? I don’t even get an error code message, it just shuts down. Please help
theres something I forgot which I don’t know if its important,
I ran a spybot program and deleated everything it turned up. Is it possible that I deleted a program that I needed to run messenger?
The first thing I can think of is an option which restarts the computer when it fails, make sure this is turned off by right clicking My Computer, go to Properties, and on the Advanced tab click “Startup and Recovery”, and it is the checkbox “Automatically reboot”. If that is on and you turn it off it should at least give some error details instead of restarting.
I really doubt spybot would delete anything to do messenger… reinstalling it would fix it anyway.
