I downloaded 6.2 today and I just tried using MSN plus and it says an error has occurred that prevents Messenger Plus! adding its functionality to Messenger.Please restart your computer if you see this error. I restarted my computer and I still have the same problem.:mad: Does anyone know why or where I can downloade MSN plus again?? I also noticed today that I have contacts that I have deleated in the past back on my messenger after downloading 6.2 today 😮 I don’t know what’s going on..:) laterz:mad:
it works fine now but be carful wen you install it now coz if you dont do it right you will have a trojen on your computer… Yes I did it wrong and it happend to me.. :p
912, you’ve posted yet another useless post. Austin asked two questions and you answered neither. Please start reading the questions before posting! Here are the Q&A’s:
1. Why is MsgPlus! not working with MSN 6.2?
The changes made in 6.2 have rendered previous MsgPlus versions incompatible. You will need to update your version of MsgPlus!2. Where can I download an updated version of MsgPlus!?
You can get a copy at http://www.msgplus.net, just remember there is an optional sponsor program during the installation, be sure to check NO to this if you do not wish for it to install adware on your system. (Cue EvilSeph for his lengthy explanation. 😉 )Just a minor comment to add to shifter previous post.
Patchu released Messenger Plus! version 2.54.75 on the 22nd April (after MSN 6.2 release) from Messenger Plus! ver 2.54. I haven’t tried it yet (company policy), but will do so as soon as I will get home. I assume the only difference is the compatibility issue with MSN 6.2. Nothing more expected from it as yet, with MsgPlus! 3 soon to be released in he second week of May
Austin, what about the deleted contacts reapperaing? There’s the good old way of deleting them manualy again, but from a technical viewpoint, I can’t see how they got back in the first place.

EvilSeph, me, and SEVERAL others have made it EXTREAMLY clear that Plus! does NOT contain a trojan.

As DME has said, Patchou has updated Plus to be compatible with 6.2. Other than better capabilities with Windows Messenger; there is nothing new to expect.
