I have set pool count to 150. It counts to 150/150 and then the numerator and denominator start falling together to 110. At that point it drops to 0/110 and quits responding to MSN never to restart without me restarting it manually. What does the pool count mean and how do I fix this?
The pool count is the number of available connections to the MSN server to use for detecting status. For example, if the pool is 10/50, it means that it has 10 available connections and the total pool size is 50.
I have never seen this behaviour before. It does perform an automatic reconnect after a couple of minutes of inactivity, but I don’t think that is the case here…
Are you getting any error messages in your log files?
Based on what I see in the status log, it appears like it is trying to reconnect but never does. It keeps saying logging off every couple of minutes.
From log:

…repeated frequently…
error log and out log are empty.
FWIW the pool has fallen to 0/45
Please e-mail me your log file and I’ll see if I can figure out what’s wrong. E-mail: status@chello.se
