After upgrading my MSN Messenger to build 6.0.0268, I wanted to install Heavy_K’s updated Patches for MSN Messenger 6.0.0268. But upon installation I recieved this error:
“Component “COMDLG32.OCX” or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid”I have scoured Google for ideas, replaced the ocx file and still cannot run this patch. If anyone knows of a solution or an alternate patch please let me know.
Thats the problem with most patches they are missing a file. Don’t know why they aren’t deleted by the owner. Sorry but I don’t think your gonna get much help shifter after all your one of the best.
No worries, I found the Nega Patch for MSN Messenger Preview and it works fine. For anyone interested in installing this patch, here are the features:
– Run multiple MSN Messengers simultaneously (also known as polygamy);
– Hide the ‘User is Typing’ message from your buddy’s conversation window;
– Log into MSN in ‘Appear Offline’ status;
– Remove the little butterfly from the MSN Messenger icon;
– Remove the ad banner.
