ParticipantWhen I right click on my contact’s icon and select “profile”, it doesn’t bring up their profile…..it brings up mine!!! This happens with 2 out of my 9 contacts.
Have any of you come across this before? If it helps, MSN have been messing around with the profiles of members and now some of my contact’s pictures have been replaced by the dreaded empty box with the red X.
What do you think? MSN server issue? A problem at my end? Any help would be much appreciated.

MemberI think any problems related to MSN Profiles are currently all to do with Microsoft, at least for the most part. When I try accessing a profile, my browser freezes – and yes, I have tried alternative browsers, it’s so odd!

ParticipantIt does the same to me, if a contact has myspace profile then it transfers me there. If it doesn’t have myspace, then it brings up MY profile.

ParticipantLooks like MSN have replaced profiles with “spaces” and its become a real mess. I don’t know whether you have any experience of MSN Groups but I belong to a couple. When you go to the message boards you normally see a little yellow smiley icon with sunshades:cool: , click on it and you get a brief profile of the poster. Now half the pictures just aren’t there, you get the dreaded empty box with a little red cross in it. I wonder if any of you guys are in MSN groups too and have found the same thing.
I despair of MSN. Earlier this year and late last year it was people appearing offline when they weren’t, they seem to have fixed that and now they “improve” things by messing around with profiles. Some improvement this is! What the heck are they going to mess up next?

MemberI had the MSN member directory advanced search on my favourites, when I click it now I get page not found, when I try the home page for the members directory I get forbidden.
Cleary as stated MSN have swapped profiles for spaces and have made a big balls up of it, and worse still haven’t told any of us!
