over the last few days i have noticed that whenever i sign into msn that my screen name always appears the same. however, it always contains a comment such as “im a loser” or “im gay”. when i change my screen name through tools>options>my display name, my name appears changed but in conversation windows it still appears as the name with “im gay” or ” im a loser”. So basically im unable to cahnge my msn scrren name. Can anyone please help me?!?!?!?!?
Either you have got yourself a virus that is modifying your screen name, or most likely someone has managed to get your password.
My advice would be to change your messenger email password ASAP, and get your computer scanned for viruses.
You can change your settings here, if you don’t use Hotmail. If you DO use Hotmail you can change it within the options, or you can still use that link provided.
