Hello,
I’m having problems with MSN Messenger 6.2 when i try to send and receive webcam. In fact, the problem only occurs with certain people (ie. i can send webcam and receive webcam from some people but not others). When i accept the invitation the ‘connecting with…’ comes up…and the logitech picture comes up also. However, then i lose my ADSL connection and I am signed out of MSN. The problem also exists when i try to send or receive files from the same people. Usually i just reset my ADSL modem and then sign back into MSN. I noticed once something about runtime error R6052….any clues? Any help appreciated…cheers….
is it only happening with the same people each time? or does it vary?
if it was just with the same people each time, and wouldn’t connect i would say they were behind a firewall.. but if it’s disconnecting your modem, i’ve never heard a problem like that. could be a modem/nic problem.
if you have an extra NIC try plugging your ethernet cable into it and see if the problem occurs again.
