Qnext this week released a substantial update to their client. My favourite feature in this version is the P2P music streaming that lets you stream music between Qnext users. I have thirty friends on Qnext all with shared music and I am never at a loss for good music to listen to while I am working.
Other features in the new release include IRC, enhancements to the IM, better video conferencing and also a bunch of performance optimizations. Also, they have release their open SDK that lets Java developers produce their own plug-in’s for Qnext.
Check out the new version of Qnext here.
The music streaming feature looks pretty sick. It might also be really useful as a means for accessing music stored at home from another computer (by creating two qnext accounts). Has anyone tried this?
