Thats a neat idea, I hadnt thought of anything like that before.. put the buttons on the other side and it would be more like MSN. I bet this could be done with reshack.. I think atleast. I’m guessing you did that is a photo program?
I like the plain buddy list with nothing on it myself, but I can definatly seeing quite a few people liking something like that.

yea i used photoshop it took quite a while to get the details in
I think the blur on the buddylist looks really cool… but how can you see the contact names now? ;(

I prefer this interface to the AiM default, certainly. Is it intentionally similar to MSN, or just coincidental? I’d support a text change though. I’d prefer “Contacts” to “People” any day… After all, People are real life. Contacts are IM lingo.
Or it could be since I’m not from an American Culture, because Buddy is an unknown word here too:)
