I just up loaded my site i think it is done right for the first time. Thanks to everyone here. Is there a site i can go to and have it check my site to see if the picture pull up and all links work right. Thank you
I don’t think there’s a site that does that, usually you just go to the page and check yourself.
Would you mind posting the URL so we can look, too?
if you wish, you can use a validator service to check over your source code and make sure all is in order. this is probably the most widely used such service: http://validator.w3.org/ i dont know if it checks links for you, but it makes sure you have proper syntax for everything, etc… of course, it doesnt always return perfectly; especially if you have a great deal of scripting on your site. most of the time it’s a pretty good indicator of whether everything is in order.
the best way to make sure your site works is to go to your site and look at it. go to all the pages. check to see that all the pictures do load. use a few different browsers if you have them (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, Netscape, whatever you can find). Then go to a different computer (at the library, at a friend’s house, wherever) and check it from there too, just to be sure.
