This only happened twice i downloaded something on firefox and after download internet explorer download keeps popping up like crazy the only way to stop it is to turn off computer. Can’t even shut it down with pop-up
Hi jc, try to have your computer scanned with up-to-date antivirus and antispyware. It seems that Firefox contains highly dangerous holes that allow hackers to do whatever they want, that you can do to your own computer. Right now, just be careful what you download and what web site you visit.
If you have all this adware ans spyware starting up with your PC, therefore delivering a ridiculous amount of advertising to your desktop, I’d scan your computer whilst in Safe Mode.
When you hear the startup beep, press F8 and the Startup Menu will appear. Select Safe Mode. This method may vary depending on Operating System.
Did it solve the problem?
If not, I’d scan with Ad Aware SE and Spybot Search and Destroy. They are the two main contenders in the Spyware Removal field.
