I used to talk to this one person on my yahoo messenger alot but no longer,so i removed her name, she still has my name on her list but refuses to remove it.Is there any way for it to be removed from my end?I got her blocked and everything but she still has me on her friends list even tho we are not talking anymore.
Read Yahoo! FAQ #12, hope it helps.
Also, See this, dont know if it works or not>> http://www.geocities.com/drakkar355/denybuddy.html
Similarly, DustBunny, I have an ex-“friend” who has been consigned to my Block list for some years now.
Occasionally when I log in I will find an offline IM from him – as the “Block” does not seem to work for OFFLINE stuff …. but I simply delete/ignore these.
(Actually they’re usually “to all my friends” type of things).
So – he still DOES have me on his list…. but I know he NEVER sees me online any more, AND he never gets any response to any IMs he sends, so sooner or later he’ll no doubt give up and delete me.
So I see no need to try devious means (DenyABuddy, etc!) to get myself off his list – it really isn’t doing me any great harm.
But I guess it’s up to you……
