hay all !! it’s lisa here
i am having problems on this computer with getting booted a lot and i hate it i come on line to chat and not to like get booted?? why do ppl do that?? Anyways, i guess it’s not a good idea to say but i need a firewall on my computer and i’m not sure how to do it?? can anyone help me and tell me how to run firewall and were do i go and get one??? thanks so much!! Lisa have a great day u all!!!When you say you’re getting booted a lot, can I assume that you mean you’re getting kicked out of Yahoo chat rooms and/or getting disconnected from Yahoo? hi thanks so much but i have read the y tunnel and well it wont work for me b/c i haven’t got bata so that wont help me ,, i’m afriad of downloading something and crashing my computer,, anything else u can suggest for me would be great,,, i need something b/c someone tried to hack into the other night and well,, i caught them in time and shut my computer off and just didn’t come back on ,,, so anything would help right about now,, thanks again Lisa smile!!!
hi lisa well ive downloaded a tiny firewall and its good best part its free cant say ive had hackers since i downloaded it, i got it from tucows in top pick of downloads i could send or maybe you would rather go to http://www.tucows.com to download it.
there was a time when i was going to chatrooms or on messengers that my computer would just reboot and windows xp would start up. i just could not underrstand why it did it then i discovered it was driver on my broadband alcatel modem i went to there site updated driver now im never booted though some wish i was i think!!!!!lol

Lisa I’m not clear on what your meaning. (you dont have beta?) You mean Yahoo Messenger 5.5? Y! Tunnel says they just wont state that prev. verions will be helped as they are making the Y!Tunnel program designed for 5.5 but that Y!Tunnel might work for prev. verions.
And (someone tried to hack into the other night) Getting booted fromYahoo and getting Hacked are different. Yes what Rusty said to go get ZoneAlarm will help against getting hacked but not getting booted.
