Okay, here’s the deal. I’m using a Linksys router 4-port etherfast switch. Model BEFSR41. Im running Windows XP Pro and trying to configure AIM file sharing or “Get File”. When someone tries to Get a file from me, it says I have no files even though I do in that directory. Is this because I have no port number entered into my settings? I do not know what to put in there, could someone help me determine how to get the port number? Thanks.
i don’t htink the port number is the problem. I’m testing it and it’s working for me (although I’m testing it via DeadAIM’s clone AIM and 2 SNs…) although this doesn’t simulate a file transfer between 2 comps, it should show that because of the fact that I can see the files in my shared directory, the port number isn’t a problem for that…
but other then that… I can’t relaly help, sorry
Yeah, my fault sorry guys. I had it set to the wrong directory where there were no files. LoL. Thanks.
lol… at least you figured it out
