I have an alias yahoo name that I want to break off from my main name so that I can use it by itself. But before I remove it from the main name, I wanna make sure deleting it from my aliases won’t render it still used though.
Hard to explain.. is there an easy way to do this?
I know what you mean…you want to make an alias a ParentID. I’ve heard one thing and experienced another. I always hear if you do that the name will come up as used….but I tried once (*CAUTION*…this was a LONG time ago) and I was able to do it without any problems. What you might want to do is start up with one that’s close…THEN try it…that way if it’s still considered used…you at least have one that’s close. AND if it does work you can just ignore the other account you made, though I think there might be a way to get rid of it by asking for it to become inactive or it automatically does so when not used. Anyway, I hope that “I” made sense…you made perfect sense to me 🙂
