I am trying to set up an IRC acount to use with Trillian, but I’m not sure how to start. When I go into the “Manage My Connections” options, all the other messaging services have a way to sign up for an account if you dont have one. IRC on the other hand does not have that option. If someone could explain to me how I can set up an account, and what the difference between Server Alias, Nickname, and Username are it would be greatly apriciated.
