Hello Friends,
I recently know that this website wil help people how needs some help to fix their messengers and also discussed new messengers. I have the patch which allows me to have multiple messengers working at same time. But the patch only lets me use it on version 5.5 and other 6.0 versions which is no longer the latest version and im getting a little frustrated on how everyone has new messenger and i don’t as changing to new messenger would mean no more multiple messengers. Now I installed new version which is beta yahoo messenger 7.0 but the problem is that I can’t find the patch.
Anyone know of a patch that would work on latest messenger? please give me a website..
I am very thankful to you all ….June 1, 2005 at 10:05 pm #123002ToeBeeMemberI doubt there is one for 7.0 yet as its still a beta and may change some more. I couldn’t find one either.
June 1, 2005 at 10:12 pm #123000amy_d_gParticipantEvery time Yahoo releases a new version of messenger, they change a lot of stuff, so the creators of these add-ons need to re-work the whole program. It will take them a while, and as it is still in beta stages, they may want to wait until a final release.

June 1, 2005 at 10:31 pm #122996shifterMemberRusty, please try to stay on topic. If you don’t have any information or opinions about patching Y!M 7 Beta then there really is no need to post in this topic. Your post would be more appropriate in this topic Thank you.

June 3, 2005 at 1:26 am #123005NessaParticipantAs previously mentioned, you might have to wait until 7.0 is officially released. Since it’s still in the beta stage, most likely no patch has been made yet. The only thing you can do is wait for official release or go back to 6.0, for now.
June 4, 2005 at 2:01 am #123006miGsMemberThere is Magic Login Full 7.0 out, however i havent tried it.
June 4, 2005 at 2:10 am #122997shifterMemberOh, you mean this one. I’m sure it might work, but at the cost of your systems security. I strongly suggest everyone steers clear of anything with “Magic” in it’s name, these are all known to have exploits that will compromise your computers. Stay away.

Stay away.yeah that is it exactly. i agree with you that it will compromise the PC security, that is why i havent tried it, though i had the application already.
Well i shouldnt have posted that it is “out”… i apologize. On the other hand, i’d like to tell everyone to be careful in using that program. Lets just wait for some authors to have their own version of the polygamy patch.
June 9, 2005 at 2:48 am #123001EliteNickMemberSimply download the stable Yahoo! Messenger 6 again and download Y!Multi-Gold 6 ( http://www.elitenick.com/ccount/click.php?id=22 ) then PATCH that version of messenger. Then, go back and reinstall Yahoo! Messenger 7 BETA and there you go, now you can still get on more than 1 instance of Yahoo! Messenger using BETA. Screen shot below, notice on the right is Yahoo! Messenger 7 BETA, and
the left is Yahoo! Messenger 6. If you find this method too stupid, well it’s all I could come up with besides that magic login.June 9, 2005 at 11:16 am #122999f0rbezMemberhttps://bigblueball.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=246
Should be working. I tested it on one of the 7.0 builds. Don’t have yahoo installed at the moment.

Doesn’t seem to work on the newest beta though. I’m running 7,0,0,249 and although it said the patch was successful, I am still unable to open multiple instances of Y!M. So far, EliteNick’s method is the only viable option. -
