KeymasterDeadly Programming is the name of a website, although I don’t recommend it. They have a bunch of script kiddies who like to consider themselves hackers. They deface other websites and generally cause trouble. It looks like they (or someone somehow affiliated with them) attempted to send a request to play a game or launch an application. Good thing to say “no thanks” to.
You did the wise thing. Cancel, then change your privacy settings to block anyone not on your contact list.
For the benefit of others, I would add that you should never blindly accept an invitation for application sharing, games, picture sharing or file transfer… even from a friend… without first talking with them to establish what they want to share. Why the paranoia? The reason is simple. If they have been infected by a virus, very often the virus will auto-replicate itself by contacting their friends without them actually knowing it. So it might not actually be your friend trying to send you that file or pic… it might be a virus!

MemberIt is an aim punter, it is ment to freeze up your AIM and the admininstrator of this site clearly has no knowledge of AIM in general otherwise he would know to shut the hell up before he even starts to think about saying something. The program that was being used on you is called Deadly Programming. There is no way to get out of it, either way you are ****ed and might as well deal with it you dumbass so get the **** over it you whiny little bitches. Especially the admin that thinks were all just a bunch of ****in script kiddies.

KeymasterSmurf, thanks for making my point clear. Anyone who bothers creating or using punters is an immature ass. I don’t have time for your stupidity. Get a life.

MemberWhy call the creators immature when we make what people ask us to make. We provide a free service in making programs for kids that use AIM, we should not be hated for what we do but admired for the hard work we put into making programs for free. So the day that I see you making some sort of programs for people that they will enjoy using, I suggest you stop talking. And when have me or anyone that works on the site messed with anyone elses site?

Participantsmurf. seriously, you can’t be that blind. jeff may not make programs, but he’s the one responsible for several websites (including this one) that he makes very little profit off of. and i think i’m able to speak for the majority of the members here when i say that this is also a service that we enjoy.

Although I can see and almost admire the effort and work put into these type of applications, I must say that I frown upon them simply because they don’t do any good at all. Kicking someone offline isn’t doing any good, it’s probably fun for the attacker, but what good does it really do?
So until you allocate your intelligence and resources (which I’m sure you have, it takes quite a mind to not only find the exploits but also write the software to make use of them) into something useful, you won’t have my or anyone else’s respect.

KeymasterI have no respect for someone who creates a program that serves no good purpose. There is no legitimate reason for a punter or booter. That’s my gripe.
As for your question about “messing with a site?” I assumed that you or someone affiliated with your site was involved in redirecting http://www.mybuddyicons.com to deadlyprogramming a while back. Am I wrong?

ParticipantI dont think anybody from deadlyprogramming even VISITS http://www.mybuddyicons.com, at least i dont. if one of us hacked it, wouldnt it redirect to bitchinbuddy.com instead of deadlyprogramming?
