New DeadAIM version

Steve, one of the Jim’s “affiliates”, said that “The new DeadAIM will be released this week, including bug fixes and new features.”

At first he said it was goind to be “laden” with new features and bug fixes, but then that part was taken out when the meaning of laden was argued to mean that the new version was going to have alot of bug fixes and features.

Guess that means that there wont be the features we were expecting. I’m a vet over at the JDennis forums, and people are about ready to tie him to the stake and burn him.

Why don’t they just move to aimutation. It’s now free and better then deadaim.

The only reason I haven’t is for 2 reasons.

AIMutation is buggy as all hell.

And I hate the way it logs, by session rather than by day.

but now the deadaim forums are down…so we cant see anything on new information, but on the good side no one can complain about deadaim not being out. but i wanted to point out…how do we know that steve isnt lying? idk, ever since Jim went AWOL i kind of dont trust him that much…

anyone who was loyal to Aim+ (The original from big-o) and who now is loyal (somewhat i guess) to deadaim…are you having a flash back? i sure know i am. for those of you who are about to stop reading here’s what happened, its scary how similar. it was right after AIM 5.0 came out and the creators of Aim+ said there update would be ready for DL in one week…when they were two days late the site “Crashed” rumors had it the Mysql error codes dsplayed were in proberly formatter (implying they took it down on purpose) and when the site came back up, poof…they don’t update it, to this day Aim+ isn’t compatible with 5.x, now same thing with Deadaim…they said it would be out in a week, now their site is down. maybe i curse updates cause w/e i look forward to a big update, the site “crashes” or gets “updated”. am i crazy or is that weird?

They just moved servers and the website is back up and running. It’s not going really fast and hopefully it will stay that way.

It seems to be down again, maybe they are preparing to upload the new Deadaim, but I doubt it.
