That’s right, they’ve made a new beta: 2002a Beta Build #3722 Updated Monday, March 25th.
There is also a review on CNet.
Enjoy,

Has anyone tried the new version? What are your impressions? Is it worth the upgrade?

I just downloaded the new ICQ to see the differeces, and it seems basically the same as the older version.
Only thing Ive noticed so far is a few buttons changed a bit. And that you can either have it in the task bar, or in the system tray, and not always in the system tray like before.
And Jeff now has 500 posts and 4 stars by his name:)

Hey, what can I say? I’m just a four-star kinda guy!
Back to ICQ 2002, here’s a really brief rundown on the new features (from their site):

I suppose since I posted the heads up, I should have at least checked it out. Unfortunately I have not yet had the chance. I expect to get a chance this weekend… I’ll give my full impressions of it then.

Another thing I noticed about the new ICQ, is that it adds a signature to Outlook.
The signature includes your ICQ number, and an indicator that can tell if you are on or offline. (handy for the person getting your mail)
I thought it was neat, but you can turn it off in Outlooks signature options if you dont want to use it.
