Hi there, you can also try SweetIM.com . It offers a free software that you can download and then enjoy thousands of updated emoticons, profile pictures, smilies and other instant messenger applications. It is compatible with Gmail as well!

I like the ‘Old School’ original ones the best- the ones that look like the sideways smileys “:)” , even though the other ones are much more colorful.
