oh and I almost forgot to ask you guys……how do you make screenshots?? I think I finaly figured out how to make some of my own!

Making a screenshot is really quite simple. Look on the top of your keyboard directly above the arrow keys. There should be a key that has “Prt Scr” on top and “Sys Rq” on bottom. Press that key and shift simultaneously to make a screenshot. Then simply open your graphics program, right-click, and select “Paste.” From there you can edit your screenshot any way you wish.

-SydWell take your time and play around with it. You will figure somthin out. I never used lighting techniques on my first skins. It helps if you have a good art program. It makes all the difference. What program are you using?
I love the “Vortex Pink” skin, Amy. The black is awesome w/ pink, except that It takes some font color adjustments for the window… otherwise I wouldn’t be able to see some text that are black on the dark background. But it’s great. btw I have the same problem w/ changing the background. It’s quite easy for the old Version “classic”… Not anymore tho. =D If you got it could you tell me how, too? thankies

Thanks! Yes that is one problem with the black skins, the text you’re talking about can’t be changed from black in the xml file. That’s why my black skins aren’t jet black. As for the background, there’s no way to change it, Yahoo didn’t allow that feature in 6.0.:(
A new skin for Style XP users…or anybody that likes it for that matter. This one is based on the Purple Taz theme…
Also ones to match the green and blue color schemes of the theme.

Well to install the skin you have to unzip it to the following string…
C:> Program Files> Yahoo> Shared> Graphics
To select a skin goto your main messenger window and click on “view” and then pick “change skin…”
