Today Hinduism user and in other yahoo chat rooms user facing new problem.
as i am of Hinduism so describing but that only.
When ever I try to go any room yahoo takes me to hinduism 1 only i/we can’t able to go in any other room except Hinduism 1 even i try to go to Other room yahoo took me back to hinduism 1 🙁
Is there anyon of other room who is facing this problem. and tell me how to complain about this problem to yahoo ?
im having the same problem too…. i tried moving to different room and it keeps taking me to the same room or taking me to a different room number… weird…
This is because of the roll out of the new servers last night. Wait until chatters refill the room. 🙂 Although, if you’re not using Yahoo! Messenger to get into chats, you’ll need to know the room’s category ID to get into rooms. 🙂
each room has whats called roomspace cat id
like on the old servers you could get into a specific room typing /join india:1
on the new servers you will have to use the full name which is /join india:1::1600326551
the roomspace id 1600326551 is there to specifiy that room only
Any clients or bots that used this on room joins will still have access to room properly.
Yahoo! messenger as native has always used them.
Normal Yahoo! Messenger isn’t able to. However, 3rd party chat clients can usually show you what the category ID is for each room.
i m facing same problem i want to join other room but yahoo kick me to islam chat:1, i found ymlite is working, cat id of room is good.
I’m experiencing a similar problem: I can no lonher chose the room I want to be in. Any room I chose, yahoo sends me to another one.
That is if my friends are waiting for me to join Music Lobby:2 and I double click Music Lobby:2 it sends me to Music Lobby:35 or 17 or whateverIf the room you are attempting to reach is not full, you will be correctly connected; otherwise, it appears that you will be connected to the lowest number room that is not full. Strange.
