Ok, I know that me and a few others have head a horrible time commenting on the news articles. Ok, there are 2 buttons that say “Submit Reply” however I have noticed only the bottom one (it’s under every other thing related to what you would be posting including attatchments and others) will work for me. The other just reloads teh page and takes my text away, so I will normally press my browser’s back button. However, there has been one time when neither worked, and finally after many times I clicked one (the bottom I believe) then clicked my back arrow and clicked the one right under the text typing field and it worked. The buttons never work right there. Also, every now and then on Firefox (not sure about other browsers) but the commenting area will be right over the ads so it’s very hard to type and read what it says.

I didn’t even see the other set of “Submit Reply” buttons (the ones below everything) and just about gave up, but really wanted to add my 2 cents. Then, I did see them after I got on another computer to try it again. I’m not sure what all I clicked or in what order, but it did eventually post.
What up wit dat?
May 9, 2006 at 12:03 am #144112Eagle_KiwiMemberI agree with most of that, MrEgg. I have pretty much the same assorted problems when posting in the News area.
And I have same display problem in Firefox, and also used to in I.E. too – I think BBB doesn’t like “small” browser windows !? 🙁May 9, 2006 at 2:11 am #144109SpikeMemberUh, hate to be the odd ball out, but everything’s all fine and dandy for me here with Maxthon and our comments system. 🙂
May 9, 2006 at 6:45 am #144113Eagle_KiwiMemberSpike, have you tried making your Maxthon window aprox 800×600, THEN see if the page – especially the FIRST post on a news page, and the advert beside/under it – still looks quite ok. ?
That “display” aspect seems to be fine on a 1024×768 or bigger browser window size.
May 9, 2006 at 2:49 pm #144110SpikeMemberUm…I don’t know what you’re talking about.

I can see the news just fine if my browser window is 800 wide. There aren’t any ads next to the article, only one underneath it between the article and the comments.
May 9, 2006 at 8:50 pm #144111MrEggsaladParticipantThe news is fine for me, it’s the page where you actually add the comment That is the issue. I’ve explained what happenes in my first post up there.
May 9, 2006 at 9:44 pm #144114Eagle_KiwiMemberOk Guys, I misinterpreted part of what Egg was saying.
But I won’t go further here, as I think there’s another thread somewhere where I’ve posted screenshots etc of “my” news display problem. -
