You probably noticed a LOAD of new posts in here. I want to keep you abreast of what’s going on.
First of all, I’ve created a Yahoo Pipe that aggregates data from a range of feeds for WLM, AIM, Y!, Skype and others. This pipe is then consumed as an RSS feed by vBulletin, which is now configured to bring in the excerpts to the News Room.
Remember, the News Room is only visible to the staff! The goal of this is to help us stay abreast of the latest news.
If you see something noteworthy to our BigBlueBall community, please add a response to that post. This can then be either 1. be reworded as a front page story with analysis or 2. be reposted as an excerpt in the appropriate forum. Once a story has been posted to either the front page or the public forums, the item in the news room should be locked.
If you have questions about the process or how to handle these stories, post them here.
Finally, the deluge of new stories should subside as we “catch up” with the feed. 😉
