Those are my two favorite Nickelback songs….hard to believe I never noticed that before. I’m sure this is old news, but I can’t be the only one that didn’t know.

Yeah, the choruses start at the very same time, they’re both on the same beat/same speed, wow. I found something similar here. Pretty strange.
Huh, go figure…that is really funny. Of course, then there are bands like Creed, where all their songs sound the same and you want to carve your brain out with a spoon by means of your ear. But yeah, those songs are really similar, which explains why they’re both uber groovy.
That’s neat there, Sir Sauciness…heh, can change the balance there. Mmmm yum.
From a monetary standpoint that’s fricken genius. Re-record your biggest hit with different lyrics and vocal phrasings, stick in a slight rythmic change before the chorus and bang you’ve got a second instant hit. Brilliant. He’s a shrewd businessman in the music industry I can tell you that much.
But from a creative standpoint its fricken lame. One of the biggest things I dislike about Nickelback is there formuliac aproach to writing music. They sacrifice originality for the garaunteed dollar. Sure it works and they’re rich and powerful in the music industry, but they sold out. Most people don’t care about that though. Only us musicians seem to give credence to the lack of originality. Almost makes me ashamed they’re fellow Albertan’s. 😉
Well I have been to see them twice, and boy they were just amazing! And will I go again… well hell yeah without a doubt. Have to agree in some respects I love some their old stuff The State was a great album and the music was more raw in sound, Diggin’ this being one of the best on that album. Well I maybe sad I now have all four albums and prefer the not so well known ones (ie chart busters). The Long Road is my favourite album and Should have listened is my favourite song. The boys rock I love em, and listen to them alot. And hands off Chad is mine lmao. :p p.s also like switchfoot, linkin park, yep boring you now… I’m off lol
That is wonderful! Their next song will probably be the above two songs mixed together. In all seriousness, this is absolutely great… and I now know for sure that I accidentially exchanged the ‘Left’ and ‘Right’ cables of my speakers.
