This was one of the few reasons I didn’t switch over to MSN yet since
most of my contacts already have but now the offline messages don’t
only sporadically work, they don’t work at all. I hope this is
something that will be rectified soon or I’m switching officially.Maybe the people are just ignoring your messages. Really? I didn’t notice any problems with offline messages. I agree, offline messages are handy. You can switch to Yahoo if ICQ is giving you problems.
First confirm that offline messages are being sent before condemning a service.

All my contacts are having the same issue and I have even checked around on newgroups and message boards. ICQ is going downhill fast. I don’t know if it’s AOL aquiring it but alot of things are not right with it right now.

MistahMan is correct. I just got this message while sending rustedtight a test offline message. Although, I used Trillian in case that makes a difference.
