No one can see what I write in chat

Hi again,
I just installed the new version of Yahoo Messenger 5,6,0,1358 but now when I log into Yahoo Chat no one sees what I write in the chat room. I tried restarting but don’t work. Ran Norton Win Doctor and it said i had 2 invalid active x controls, supposedly it got corrected but still no one sees what I write. This only happens in chat rooms messenger works fine. Any help ????? Please.

You have the patch the issues after the maintenance?

Yahoo! Messenger also has a repair option should any of its file be corrupted.

Proceed via add/remove in control panel, add/remove Yahoo! Messenger and select repair.

How can I get my messenger to sign in No Proxies………sumthin happened an now i can only sign in under Firewall with No Proxies? I really could use tha help ppl!!

Turn off your firewall.

If you can still sign in, why does it matter? The settings are there to help you sign in depending on your internet settings.
