norton internet security & error 0x81000370

I’m using N.I.S 2003 and I can’t sign into MSN messenger 6.2
or windows messenger or any other site I have to use my
hotmail address for. On my NIS screen it said security is
off, but when I try to change it, it says only supervisor
can change things. When I go to ‘log in’ it wont let me
press the ‘log in’ button so in other words I cant turn
on security and I cant sign into MSN or any secure
website. The fault has nothing to do with my IS settings.
