Memberddnehal,
This BigBlueBall.com Not Yahoo! We are not part of Yahoo! We are a website that helps members with instant messengers. The way it works is members post troubles they are having and other members and moderators try to reply to them with information which might be helpful. You need to turn to Yahoo!

Good Luck! As for your posting here Im sure someone might have some insight on this topic. Just keep in mind we are not Yahoo!June 3, 2003 at 3:41 am #96311gaz_berotten
MemberVoice Problem
You may see in the chatroom your not authorised to join the conference your ****ed message in the chat the answer is belowThat your not authorised to join the conference is someone running a microphone booter they can stop you from using your mic or listening. Anyone in fact can download it and use it. If you install Ytunnel and Stay Alive this will prevent them and get thier user id.
Since using these ive never been kicked off the mic
You may obtain Stay Alive and Ytunnel From
Stay Alive
http://www.pcworld.com/downloads/file_description/0,fid,6551,00.aspY Tunnel
http://www.ytunnelpro.com/download.phpI hope the yahoo booters dont put you off from staying on yahoo.
Pass a copy of this email to your friends and family or collegues.

MemberI have Ytunnel and I still get this…

MemberGaz you are paranoid. Every post on this forum you seem to put the problem down to booters. Please let me take 4 seconds to explain something:
Y!Tunnel – proxy between server and client, strips known bootcodes from packets to stop messenger receiving and crashing.
Stay-Alive – stops a program that has crashed from totally terminating, aims to leave the application running from where it left at before the crash. Not always successful.ddnehal its probably because Yahoo! sees all 700 of you as one IP, as this is how it works. It’s not going to let more than one of you use voice at once I would presume.
The best way to connect to to Yahoo! in this situation is through SOCKS5 proxy connection, you set these options on login>>preferences, “use proxies” , “use socks”. You need address and port of the SOCKS5 proxy, presuming your network proxy server supports it.
If a user or IP leaves voice chat without stopping it, Yahoo! never gets a signout of voice request, and so the user gets the unauthorized to join message. An individual can usually solve this by getting a new IP (dial up users reconnecting) or using another ID, or turning voice on and off.
Proxy server software do not work well with cams and/or voice from messaging servers due to the type of port they use (standard/H323), many are working to improve this.

MemberI am telling you its the booting look at how his ytunnel got knocked down because of new boot codes and Stay alive logs the id of who boots you trust me i have it installed and it works. yahoo seeing him or her as 700 people may be true but they know more than one person uses the same computer for different accounts so it wont be that i once had 45 people using accounts on the same machine no problem. Im paranoid about booters no im just trying to make people like you see sense
July 9, 2003 at 5:02 pm #96313freddy
MemberThe original question has no mention of Y!Tunnel or stay-alive.
I do see sense, and I know it has nothing to do with booters, but as about 60 of your 74 posts on this forum show, you think every problem is booters. This is not the case.

Memberim not gonna argue end of topic mods please lock it
July 12, 2003 at 11:41 am #96312freddy
MemberI think it would be more appropriate to lock your account.
I don’t see any of your comments as being constructive.
You are also telling the mods what to do lol
And you took over this thread with rubbish about booters. You failed to read and/or understand my help correctly. And then you insult my intelligence by telling me I have no sense.

MemberPlease get back on and keep on TOPIC! This thread (as Freddy said) had nothing to do with Booters! GAZ did you read it?? Its a Company trying to Conference. They create a Voice Conference Room with just the company members in it to have a meeting. They all get an Error saying “You are not authorized to join the conference.” These people are not the run of the mill chatters hop’n into a chatroom.
NOW I will say *End of this off topic discussion*
